Foot SPA

An Asian wellness ritual, now in Halifax!
A soothing foot soak and gentle care to relieve fatigue, boost circulation, and refresh your whole body. Includes light snacks and refreshments.

Deep Tissue Massage

This treatment applies firm pressure and slow, deep strokes to target muscles and connective tissues. It helps release chronic tension, knots, and stiffness, supports recovery from injuries, and provides relief from pain, stress, and postural issues.

Therapeutic Massage

This treatment uses hot towels and targeted massage techniques to address pain and discomfort. It is goal-oriented and designed to help you regain a pain-free life.

A relaxing treatment that relieves tension, improves circulation, eases headaches, and enhances sleep. Includes facial massage with cleansing, point massage, oil treatment, guasha, hydrating mask, and hot towel care. Promotes lymphatic drainage, reduces fine lines, and supports overall well-being.

Cupping & Therapeutic Massage

Cupping is a therapy that enhances blood circulation in the targeted areas where cups are applied. This technique is known to alleviate muscle tension, enhance blood flow, and stimulate cell repair. Cupping can also contribute to the release of scar tissue and reduction of adhesions.

Gua Sha & Therapeutic Massage

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing method that involves using a smooth-edged tool to stroke the skin while applying pressure. This motion creates small, red, rash-like dots known as petechiae that appear beneath the skin. Gua sha is believed to help relieve pain and enhance overall body circulation.

Acupuncture

A natural healing treatment that balances the body’s energy, relieves pain, improves sleep, and enhances overall wellness. Our registered acupuncturist uses gentle and precise techniques to help with: • Stress and fatigue • Muscle or joint pain • Menstrual or digestive issues • Sleep and mood balance • Facial rejuvenation and skin tightening

We are open Monday to Saturday: Mon & Thu 8:30 am–7:30 pm, Tue 8:30 am–8:00 pm, Wed 8:30 am–5:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am–9:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am–5:30 pm. Closed Sunday. These are the widest hours across our therapists — each therapist keeps their own schedule, so the booking panel always shows what is actually available.

Your first visit includes a short health assessment (about 5 minutes). Please arrive 5 minutes early, but no more than 10 minutes before your appointment.

Your booking is confirmed once you complete the final step online and receive the confirmation email and text.

Yes — you are welcome to park in our new parking lot. We kindly ask that you avoid blocking the garage door.

For appointments booked at least 12 hours in advance, you can cancel or reschedule via My Appointments or by contacting us.

Cancellations or rescheduling made within 12 hours of the appointment will incur a fee equal to 50% of the session cost. Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment while the full session fee still applies. If you are more than 30 minutes late and unreachable, your appointment will be cancelled.

No-shows are charged the full session fee, and a deposit is required for any future booking.

Bodytreat provides professional massage, acupuncture and spa treatments only, with proper draping at all times — there are no exceptions.

Zero tolerance. Any sexual comment, request or conduct, before, during or after a session, ends the appointment at once. The full fee is still charged, you will not be able to book with us again, and the incident may be reported to the police. Asking a service provider for sexual services is a criminal offence in Canada (Criminal Code s.286.1).

Yes — we direct-bill most major insurance companies (see the list below).

We also provide official receipts for Massage Therapy and Acupuncture, so you can submit a claim directly to your insurer if your plan covers these services. Unclaimed amounts may be eligible as a medical expense for income-tax purposes — please consult your tax advisor.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash. E-transfer is no longer accepted.

Our clinic provides Registered Massage Therapy and Registered Acupuncture services in Nova Scotia. Massage Therapy is provided by our Registered Massage Therapists (RMT), and Acupuncture by our Registered Acupuncturists.

Our team has also received professional training and certifications in both Canada and China, including advanced massage techniques and pediatric massage therapy.
